Dentist's Offices:
Yesterday my family went to the dentist's office and as usual we each were sent home with a new toothbrush, a travel sized toothpaste and floss for free. I don't know how many dentists' offices do this but we now have enough dental supplies for half of the boxes we plan to do this year. With one more visit, we will be able to supply all our boxes with dental items at no cost to us!
Orthodontist's Offices:
The orthodontist that our family uses also provides free items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss and lip balm to its patients. Every time we are given such items we just save them back for the OCC boxes.
Hotels:
If you travel and bring your own toiletries you can pack up what the hotel provides and save them for your OCC boxes.
The Drive-Thru:
Kid's meals toys are the perfect size for the OCC boxes. They also provide a great opportunity for kids to become involved in this ministry project. Parents can encourage their children to give up their toy and explain to them how they are helping other kids learn about Jesus.
